こんにちは！
25期スタッフの平木愛美(まな)です！
2月23日(土)には、スタッフだけで、ミュージカルA COMMON BEATの全通しを行い、みんなこの作品も好きなことを再確認できた時間になりました！
そんな作品のテーマのひとつは、異文化理解。育った環境がちがう人との出会いは、自分の価値観に大きな影響を与えてくれます。
今回は、育った国が違う中、20期にチャレンジしたチョン フォンロイさん(ロイ)にインタビューしましたので、ご覧ください！
同じく20期に参加した奥様である柴田紘子さん(しばこ)にも協力いただきました！

1. What’s your name? (名前,あだ名)
My name is Chong Fong Loy, nickname is Loy.
チョン フォンロイ(あだ名:ロイ)
2. Where are you from? (出身地)
I’m from Malaysia .
マレーシア
3. What’s your job? (何をやっているひと？)
I’m working in a corrugated cardboard company.
Before that, I was a restaurant owner chef.
現在は、段ボール会社で勤めています。
以前は、レストランのオーナーシェフでした。
4. Why did you come to Japan ? (日本にきたきっかけはなんですか？)
I like Japanese culture very much. After high school graduated, I decided to come to Japan for further study.
日本の文化が好きで、高校を卒業後、日本で進学するために来日しました。
5. Why did you join in COMMON BEAT? (コモンビートのミュージカルに参加したきっかけはなんですか？)
My wife who invited me to join Common Beat together, after attended the explanation gathering. This program seems interesting and I though might gain myself more confidence to challenge new things.
妻(しばこ)に誘われて、体験説明会に参加しました。体験説明会が楽しかったこと、新しいことに挑戦することで自分に自信をつけられるかもしれないと思ったことがきっかけです。
6. What did u like about the program? (このプログラムのどんなところがよかったですか？)
This program is not only giving me a chance to challenge to be a musical cast. Can also learn many things through this program, furthermore, can make a lot of new friends.
このプログラムは、歌やダンスといったミュージカルの練習だけではなく、様々なことを学ぶ機会になりました。更に、沢山の新しい友達ができたことがよかったです。
7. Did you have any problem during the program? And what was it?(プログラム中になにか問題はありましたか？それはなんですか？)
Yes, For first time being a musical cast, always feeling that time goes too fast.
はい、参加している期間は、常に1日が短くて、時間が無いように感じて焦りました。
8. What challenged you in this program? (何が難しかったですか？)
First I worried about how to express myself and how to communicate with other cast, but being positive will solve these problems.
最初は自分の気持ちの伝え方と他のキャストとのコミュニケーションについて心配していました。しかし、積極的にみんなと話せば大丈夫でした。
9. What is a message you would like to leave for future cast member? (未来のキャストへメッセージ)
Be yourself and challenge yourself. You’ll find out many things.
自分らしさや自分のペースを大切にしながら、挑戦してみてください。きっといろいろなことが発見できます。

The musical’s title is “A COMMON BEAT” created by 100people and 100days!
It’s an “entertainment show” which originally started in the US. Also its theme is “Cross-Cultural Understanding”, so it must be great experience to join this musical with Japanese ppl and other countries’ ppl!!
We gonna have a CALLOUT!!! It’s free and anyone/everyone is VERY WELCOME!!!!
